Tul Gel Pens

Tul Gel Pens

I am a big G2 fan! I haven't tried the Tul yet.

I have gone from the G2, to the Uni-Ball 207, and ultimately settled on the Signo RT Gel .38 (by Uni-Ball). It has a .38 mm tip, and is the smoothest writing, most precise tip, that I have come across. Usually, when you drop down to a tip this small, the pen starts to skip and scrape. The Signo RT does neither.

Well a finally got a .38 on Friday. Nice. It is a good one to write in my Bible. Finally found one at Staples. Thanks

I stopped by an Office Max store the other day to try the TUL pens. They're very attractive objects, but they smear something fierce writing in my Moleskine. Even after a second or two, a finger across the ink will result in unreadable writing (and dirty fingers).

I may try hacking it to put a G2 refill in the TUL case, but my initial attempts didn't work.

FYI, you can put either a Uni-Ball 207 OR a Signo RT Gel .38 refill into the TUL gel pen - they both work perfectly in that nicely-designed case...makes a hell of a nice, mid-range Frankenpen.
