PR for Jesus

I went to a meeting at church today. It was for Sunday School leaders with free barbeque after it was over.

The meeting lasted for 1 hour and 50 minutes. It was total Public relations. TOTAL PUBLIC RELATIONS!! I hated it. Everything could have been done in 50 minutes or less. But, no we have to run it in the ground. No wonder people do not want to be leaders in a church. It has nothing to do with Jesus, just a pushing of the program. It is totally ridiculous. Ruined my afternoon. I was doing pretty good praying, but this "active idioticy for effective churches" is ruining my spiritual life !
