Home

Made it home this afternoon about 3 p.m. local time. Took a short nap. I am totally water-logged on Merton. I need some rest, then I will relive the experience and see what I have learned.

On a sad memory note, my Dad died 25 years ago today.

Time for rest. Lord, thank you for safe journeys.

i was at spencer burkes house a few months ago and saw all his first edition Merton's on the mantelpiece, the place of honor.

i look forward to learning more about him when time permits

(always too busy to read Merton. Do you think someone will produce a Merton for SpeedREaders and ADD sufferers?)

Dan, thanks so much of your coverage of the Merton Conference. It sounds like it was so interesting. Did you hear Jim Finley speak? I was hunting for a photo of him with you. You'll have to unwind for a few days; this kind of conference has so much input that the brain and the body have to recuperate to really begin to experience things deeply.
