Apology
Well, this blog may soon be over. Someone follows all of my post with
unnecessary profanities and I have no control over it with my sidekick
far away from home. Frustrating.
I am retired now, a full-time writer. I still actively do retreats. I love the works of Thomas Merton and my new book, "Spiritual Journaling -God's Whispers in Daily Living" is available on Kindle and Amazon. http://amzn.to/qQz6Ng

2 things have stopped comment spam on my blogger.com site: 1) requiring commenters to register with blogger.com--I get complaints from people who want to comment, but don't want to register, but I hate spam worse than I like them; besides, I feel like the people who really want to comment will go ahead and register; 2) activate "word protection," which requires all commenters (registered, of course) to imput a word blogger shows them below the comment box; most spammers are about volume and they don't want to take the time to individually type in the word on each and every blog they are hitting.
You'll need to click on "change settings" in your dashboard in order to activate each of these.
I now have zero comment spam. Give it a try before you quit.
BTW, did you know that you as the blog administrator can delete the comment spam by clicking on the trash can icon below each comment?
Mike thanks so very much for your help with the spam. It was a real blessing to me. I really appreciate it.
