Monastic Skete- Daily Living A Hermit Lifestyle of Meditation
I am retired now, a full-time writer. I still actively do retreats. I love the works of Thomas Merton and my new book, "Spiritual Journaling -God's Whispers in Daily Living" is available on Kindle and Amazon. http://amzn.to/qQz6Ng

Dan...Really nice shot! The road leads and pulls you into the valley and hills. DB
MERTON Would Have Loved it!.....A place to be alone with God...no words needed...just the 'nap upon His lap'...stillness...aware of His everywhere Presence...prercious hour of prayer...and He leads us THERE! db
Community.........Remember when you went to the playground and expected all the gang to be there!...and no one was there! This site is meant to be a communal sharing. We show our faith and love when we tell our story and listen to the other story as well. Christ Himself taught, you recall, in stories. Please join in...send a reflection...a thought that would enrich someone's life. Many times, a little life story from someone has been a great uplift to me. Please...start clickin and sharin that light within. Don Brennan Patty too.
FAITH SHARING...................How weak is that faith that has nothing to share with another. We are called to be a 'light'...even maybe a little dim...but a light to someone. I can think back to some kindness or some wonderful word of inspiration that consoles even today. Once I told a story in a church of not my denomination and the preacher remarked "Think of it...this kindness was 70 years back, and this story is told today, here in this place." God wishes us to tell the GOOD NEWS. Silence is not gratitude nor humility. Don Brennan
