SPECIAL PLACES OF GOD.....There are some places, the 'thin places,' where the Presence of God is so very close. Our souls know it and our hearts feel it...any place of deep prayer has this special holy charm. As a little kid, I had a special place out in the fields where I went all alone to pray...like Francis, I thought...it was a 'thin place'...it was special because God was so easily found in that spot. There was a special joy there. St Ann's must be like that.
