Harold Rees Greenman and Amy Elizabeth Claybrook

Went to a beautiful wedding this afternoon. Amy Claybrook was a life long Baptist who got a job at Christ Cathedral Episcopal Church and there met one of the ministers, Rees Greenman, and in the economy of God's timing they fell in love and were married today. It was an exciting time. Amy's Mom and Dad, Kim and Andy, are in our Sunday School class. Most of the class was there and were even dressed up for a change. May God's great blessings continue with this wonderful couple.

ROSES.........When we got married 46 years back, we were told: 'Marriage is a rose garden - you can make roses or make thorns.' Lots and lots of roses in your garden is our wish for you.

BIT OF WISDOM FOR FREE......When we got married a friend said "Remember that when you get married six people come to live under the same roof." I was confused...not so, I thought. He went on to say "You will bring your mother and father and she will bring hers...six persons." So good to always remember she is not your mother nor her mother, she is she. You, Rees, are not her father nor your own father you are just you. Expectations put on each other stem from this poor way of viewing your spouse and his or her role. God bless...just TWO of you.
