Wed prayer
It will be hot today with temperatures near 100. Guess summer is here. Drinking coffee and reading the breviary.
Give thanks to the Lord. Bless His Holy name.
I know the silence. It surrounds me. I need to listen to what it says. May I be a sower today. Freshly passing on the word. I give you thanks for friends who care for me and love me. All good gifts come from above.
My heart is ready. Amen.

June was the hottest month ever recorded for many cities in the U.S. They say the volcano in Iceland helped Europe avoid the heat so far, but it's arriving now. The silence tells me to be grateful, to pray for everyone and everything and to help inspire repentence for human actions which insult ourselves and hurt our creation and Creator.
