FIRE TRUCK....A long while ago, my neice lived near a fire station...she was not married and had a little son to raise by herself. Often she would take him to the fire station to see the trucks and the guys all fussed over him. He was killed by a driver who lost control and came up where the kid was playing in the front of his house. One of the fireman, came to the wake...when no one was around, he went to the coffin and put his hand out and wept for the little fatherless guy. WOW...If you are looking for a picture of compassion...this is it.
