RADIO AS A KID..........Do you recall that we stared at the radio...like there was some image there to study. I think we were wordlessly saying: '"Don't speak to me while the Lone Ranger is on...or Hermit's Cave...or Amos and Andy...Fibber McGee and Molly, etc. db

ORSON WELLES............I and my family were listening that night when Orson scared the daylights out of us. 'War of the Worlds' was so much like an emergency radio cast that we went out on our porches to ask the neighbors what they thought. My Dad was the first to tell us that it was just a clever way of telling the story. Clever and very disturbing as well!
