New week

Messy morning. Rain. Trees sway. Dark sky. Feel out of sorts. Preparing for Italy next week. A small moleskine journal is all I will take. Filling it with useful information. Maps, places to visit, travel thoughts, phone numbers, hotels where we are staying. Trying to simplify the journey. Looking forward to seeing the churches. Reliving the journeys the saints have travelled. Yes, it will be a pilgrimage. New roads. Beds. Canals. Steeples. Paintings. People on every corner. Lights. Another day.
