Emergent Church
Brother Dan:I know very little about the emergent church but I have been hearing quite a bit about it mentioned on other blogs. Would you consider doing a future blog posting explainging what the emergent church is?

EMERGENT CHURCH........If you a person who cares deeply about God and prayer...and you try to do your best...and you make time for God each day...you are part of the emergent church. You may or may not be signed up for a particular church but that is not the center point - GOD IS.
Fantastic explanation, Brother Dan...thanks for pointin the way. From Aimee's explanation I surmise that the Emergent Church is the Evangelical Stream of Christianity flowing into the Incarnational/Sacramental Stream of Chrisitianity. I wonder if this new expression of worship has flown out of the cell group structure seen in megachurches?
THAT THEY ALL MAY BE ONE......When Christ prayed this prayer was He thinking about the emerging church that we see today? Simply gathering and praying according to each one's heart and thought...but all centered on the one GOD... If this is true, then I am happy to be a member of the emerging church.
