BIRTDAY BLESSINGS....I know I am early...don't want to miss the day. Will the fire dept come when you light ALL those candles?
FOR MOM.......I worked with a guy... (Could be very difficult at times... bi-polar I guess) but every every year,on his birthday, he sent a huge and beautiful bouquet of flowers to his widowed mother in Milwaukee WI. What a nice touch!
BIRTHDAY OF GRAMPS....One time when the boys were all little we got some birthday candles that would relight themselves when blown out. Grandpa had not seen them but had heard of them. It was his birthday and we gathered in the dining room for a wonderful meal that my wife prepared. Then came the cake and the gales of laughter about Grandpa's cake candles. Nice memories of dear Gramps and of the early years of our four sons. Thank God for such good memories. They are fresh in our hearts and we laugh as we recall them.
