I once was a member of Whitesburg Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama. Charles Carter was the pastor. Each year he invited the great preacher Robert G. Lee to preach his famous sermon, "Payday Someday".

Carter said he went and stayed with Dr. Lee to see how he lived his life. One night he heard Dr. Lee eating at 3 a.m. On closer inspection he was eating an onion sandwich. Commenting on this Dr. Carter said, "I still can not speak like Dr. Lee but when I mount the pulpit I smell like him,

LEARN BY EXAMPLE....what a good teacher! One tiny act of kindness is worth a thousand sermons on how we ought to treat others better.
