Varallo's 100th Anniversary

Varallo's Restaurant celebrated its 100th anniversary today. It is the
oldest restaurant in Nashville, now run by grandson Todd (far left) and
other family members. Mayor Karl Dean stirred the chili, I ate a
Varallo's 3 way - chili, tamale, and spaghetti. What a wonderful family
has kept the tradition alive.

"It's always chili weather at Varallo's."

How nice to see people enjoying a time together. Jesus, Himself, had fun in His friendships! Imagine the laughter in the home of Lazarus and Martha and Mary when Jesus was the Guest...with so many stories and jokes to tell. Surely He was a delightful Guest...And think of the other meal times.....

...and He looked up and there was little Zaccheus in the tree...He must have laughed as He told him to come down... I going to your house to sup with you...' And recall that he was a hated tax collector! (Luke 19)

Happy times...fun together...joy in good companions. All these remind us of the great togetherness in Heaven one day...being with God and all those who also rejoice in Him.
