Saint Francis

Saint Francis died on October 4th. He was a man of immense spiritual energy and with a joyous spirit helped those in need. His most famous prayer follows:

"Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
Where there is hatred let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that
I may not so much seek
To be consoled, as to console,
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

St. Francis of Assisi

HOW MUCH DO WE REFLECT THIS PRAYER OF ST. FRANCIS
IN OUR DAILY LIVING?

i posted that exact prayer on my blog after lunch. my co-worker reminded me that this was a feast day for st. francis. as we become a war-torn and market driven success society, people like st. francis should be looked upon more often. thanks for the reminder dan.
