Prayers

Need your prayers. Two of my dearest friends is at the point of death. I
am scheduled to be a spiritual director for Tres Dias this weekend. I
find it difficult to concentrate. Praying for so many fighting to live.
Prayers for strength please.

Saturday afternoon

Not a bad day. Ate at Red Lobster for lunch. Vacumned house. Dusted. Read. Saw BK's HDTV. Watched 4 Funerals and a Wedding.

Beautiful Morning

What a beautiful morning. Patches of snow are on the ground. Several cardinals chase each other around the bird feeder. I had a good nights rest. I went to bed at 9 pm and got up at 7 am. Isn't t it amazing what a good nights rest does for us ! Cuddles sniffs around. The fire is going strong in the fireplace. I had a ham biscuit for breakfast. I must finish my studies in Esther before Sunday School.

Holy Ground

Geron Davis sang in our church yesterday morning. I did not realize that he was the writer of the song "We Are Standing on Holy Ground."(One of my favorite songs) It is quite a testimony to read about how and why he wrote it. See more details.

Lake Barclay Kentucky

18 degrees - Sunny: I miss "Fellowship at Barclay.It was always a prelude to spring. Founded by Devaugn Woods and Dr. Gabe Payne, it was a result of the laymen movement in the late 60s. Steve Brown, the Presbyterian minister took over in the later years.

Usually 200 people would attend, including Cliff Barrows and his wife sometimes. We would eat the buffet on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday morning. On Saturday we napped after lunch then went to Patti's for supper and got back in time for the singing. Steve Brown's preaching was a delight.

It was always a weekend of spiritual refreshment. God always seemed to have a message for me. The weather was usually cold, or sometimes it snowed, but there was always the sunshine in people's hearts.

Gabe Payne died several years ago. Devaughn Woods died this year. We no longer have Fellowship at Barclay but we do remember the saints who began it. We were blessed.

Grace

at least potentially capable of an experience of God. For His actions

The Big WON

Peyton finally did it. We don't have to hear he can't win the big one
anymore. I was at his last college game in Knoxville. After the game he
went and directed the marching band. Interesting.
